The Washington Monument is being transformed into a rocket ship to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. The National Air and Space Museum projected an image of the Saturn V rocket onto the Washington Monument to kick off its “Go for the Moon” show. The display is part of a wider Apollo 50 Festival in the U.S. capital.
