Press Release: Mickey Mikitani Donation Enhances Fulbright Opportunities for Japanese Students, Strengthens U.S.-Japan Relationship

The Japan-U.S. Educational Commission (Fulbright Japan) announced that Mickey Mikitani, Chairman and CEO of Rakuten, Inc., has personally committed to establishing the Fulbright-Mikitani Memorial Grant with a ¥90,000,000 donation (nearly one million USD) to support future Japanese participants in the prestigious U.S. Fulbright program.
