“Go for Gold” School Visits Inspire Children to Become Diplomats
Embassy Press Attaché Jonas Stewart visited Tokyo’s Kinuta Minami Elementary School on Nov. 25 as part of the “Go for Gold” campaign and gave a presentation for the students on studying and living in America. His talk covered such topics as family holiday traditions, American elementary schools, and the U.S. and Japan’s shared love of video games.
The Q&A session afterward focused on Stewart’s life and work as a diplomat, with several students showing keen interest in becoming Japanese diplomats someday.
