Vice President’s Wife Puts Spotlight on Art Therapy

Mrs. Karen Pence is currently visiting Tokyo with her husband, Vice President Mike Pence. As Second Lady of the United States, Mrs. Pence is championing the message that art can be therapeutic. Mrs. Pence says she hopes to “make people aware of what art therapy is and how it works.” She participated in an art therapy session for children while in Tokyo. Please read more here.
